SPECIAL NOTICE: WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING DONATIONS TO THE MUSEUM COLLECTION AT THIS TIME
Due to current constraints and related capacity limitations, we have paused accepting new donations to the collection at this time. At present, our priority is ensuring the long-term care and stewardship of the materials already held by the institution, as well as continuing to digitize our collections so they can be made accessible to a wider audience.
Unsolicited Donations
We kindly request that potential donors refrain from dropping off items at the Museum unless specifically instructed to do so by a Collections staff member. The Museum cannot accept unsolicited donations. Any unsolicited materials dropped off or sent to the Museum will be considered abandoned property. Mystic Seaport Museum reserves the right to dispose of the materials as it sees fit.
