 Vessel sprang a leak on 1848-1849 voyage and returned home early. She rescued her oil from the wreck of the freight ship CARMELITA. After being sold to the United States Government in 1861, she became part of the “Stone Fleet” sunk in Charleston, South Carolina harbor in 1861.
