Biography of James Burgess
James Burgess was a shipmaster from Boston. Between 1855 and 1864 he was master of the barks OCEAN BRIDE and KREMLIN. Included also is a copy of a contract with Ingalls & Shephard of Sullivan, Maine, to build a hermaphrodite brig.
