ATLANTIC, ship, of Stonington. Built at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1825. 290 51/95 tons: 102′ x 25 7/100′ x 12′ 9 1/2/100″, Two decks, three masts, square stern, Neptune figurehead. Previously registered at Fairfield, August 19, 1840.

Registered, Stonington, no. 9, July 13, 1844.

Re-registered, Stonington, no. 5, August 11, 1847. Home port changed to Mystic.

Surrendered at Fayal, Azores, September 27, 1847. Vessel lost.
